Being clear about your online and offline marketing goals is the most important first step. What do you want your website and marketing to do for you? Without clearly defined goals, it is impossible to measure success.
What is the purpose of your website? Is it primarily to educate, entertain, sell, or showcase your work? What do you want visitors to know about your business when they visit your site and what is the primary action you want them to take when they get there?
Who is your target audience? How do they find you?
What methods do you currently use to attract and retain your target market?
What drives you to do what you do? What makes you different, or better than others who provide the same services?
What is your budget? Can your project be broken down into smaller stages if you can’t afford to have everything all at once?
